Meeting the client brief. (U3: M4, D1)

Image
Learning outcome 4 (U3): Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief. M4 I have exported them both as a Jpeg, and by clicking on the images you can see that. Layout: The layout of my magazine keeps to all the code and conventions of a regular magazine for example having the masthead at the top and have lots of different cover lines. I also placed in a bar-code to make sure that it looks like a magazine front cover not a poster. In the double page spread I placed in the numbers of the pages making sure its looks like its in a magazine. The skyline of the magazine has lots of different artists that the magazine would talk about. The strap line has 4 free posters in side. issue number is the first one and pricing is £4.50 this all keeps to the client brief as it would hit the codes and conventions for a print based music magazine. Colour scheme :The colour scheme of the magazine is dark and mysterious this...

Learning outcome 3: Be able to create production materials for an original media product to a client brief This is the front cover and the start of the design. This would be set up or the correct measurements so its right for a front cover. After making all the correct setting for the page I started putting in different text boxes and added in texts that would advertise the articles and things inside of the magazine. I got star shapes and put them on the side to fill out dead space. I also used different fonts and sizes for the texts so different things would show up. I then added the photo on to the background this changed a lot for the magazine as the colour scheme change drastically and i put in red and white text so it would be easier to see. I also put on a drop shadow on the stars to make them stand out more. The way I did this was double click the star layer and then tick the stroke effect and adjust on how I can see it. Having red...

Task 7: Create production materials  Learning outcome 3 (U3): Be able to create production materials for an original media product to a client brief. Double page spread body copy Rap has been around as early as the 1920s though that sort of rap is not the rap we see now. Through all the years, Rap has created a strong bond with lots of people, letting people speak their mind through lyrics so people can listen to the music and have a feel about the artist problems or the artist creates their music so people can enjoy it. Rap is always changing for better or for worst, getting bigger and bigger every day with new artists coming out and new listeners finding it out. The ‘Golden age’ of rap came about from the late 80s to early 90s, with lots of famous rappers like Run DMC coming out in 1988 as well as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg releasing tracks in 1993. During this golden age of rap, the expansion of gangster rap joined in with all of it. It’s all about the lyrics that are...

Risk assessment:  This is the risk assessment this is used to asses the risks and how dangers they are and how they can be stopped. For example lots of wires in t...

Evaluating the response. (U21: D1)

Evaluate the reponse  Learning outcome 3 (U21): Be able to pitch ideas on a proposed media product and respond to questions D1(U21) Feedback:  The client provided me with four different pieces of feedback and from this I will look at the differences between the useful points, which will help me to develop my product and the points that do not add to the creation of the product. The client first asked me about my colour scheme.   He questioned if I had any other colours other than the ones stated during my pitch for the magazine. I explained that I planned to only include three colours to create a stronger brand for ‘Shout Out’ -red white and black.  One of the useful comments that were given was to use more than the other 3 colours. This is a useful comment because using only 3 colours would make those colours look bit overused and boring so using other colours for the magazine to complement different artists on the cover would be a lot better ...
