Location recce:
The location recce is when they find different locations for the filming/ photos in the area, this will have a description of the area. We had this read but we went to a public place.
Location shoot agreement:

The location shoot agreement is when the location I want to shoot at the private property so I would need to get someones permission to shoot at this place. How ever i shot in public property so i did not need to use this document.
Model release form:
This is to ask the actors if they allow the magazine to use their pictures in the magazine and to be published.
Risk assessment:
This is the risk assessment this is used to asses the risks and how dangers they are and how they can be stopped. For example lots of wires in the way as well as equipment laying around.
Front page:

The masthead has been placed there because it would stand out to the audience to make sure that people see the magazine more and it pops out to them. The main image will be placed within the middle with different text around it to make the main stand out and to make people read the sidelines to they notice what is going to be featured within the magazine.
This is a design that could be used for the front cover
Double page spread:
In the double page spread, I have the main image of the artist placed within the middle to make sure it stands out to the readers. The text will be around just around the artist as it looks professional and shows how important we want the artists to be seen as.
This would be the double-page spread that will be used for the magazine
Fonts
These are different fonts that will be used for the magazine. The reason why I want to use the fonts as they relate to the shout out image of being loud and it also shouts out from the magazine making it catch people's eye. I think for the font that it shows some Glitch effect on it to make it seem a lot more broken up as the title of the magazine is ‘shout out’ showing that it's being distorted by the sound. Using these fonts will help to give an out of the focused look and this is important as it could relate to the magazine and how it is looking on the North London rap scene and how North London hasn't been looked at in this light before
Gantt chart:
This is the Gantt chart, this would help to know how to schedule the production of the magazine and how long each task would take.
Mood board:
In the mood board, it shows new artists that are coming up in the hip hop genre as well as ones that are well known to them as it shows the new and very famous Tyler The Creators album 'Flower Boy' showing the popular albums that came out recently. The mood board also shows new artists like Ski mask the slump god this is for the new splash of young adults going into the hip hop genre. As well as the 'parental advisory explicit content' tag that is on most hip hop music albums from them being so rude. These rappers are not the most famous ones and that's what we are going to try and do within the magazine and feature not so popular artists that are on the rise so they can have the spotlight. It will also feature some famous rappers within the magazine from the top the famous golden age of rap to encourage the older audience of rap.
Intellectual property laws:
- Trademarks: This would be important as we need to make sure that we allowed using the brands that we want to feature in the magazine. This can be resolved by checking with the people that own this trademark to use it in the article. This would affect the magazine as it says in the client brief to use a vibrant music scene within north London and as the magazine would have a hard competition then it would need to make sure everything is trademarked so no other magazine company and steal it. The way I will ensure that this issue will not happen is to make sure that all things on the magazine are trademarked and look around for any other magazine company doing the same thing still while doing all the work for the magazine.
- Copyright: If the production is not copyrighted for example the name of the magazine then someone else will be able to use it. More problems with copyright would be that if we don't use an image that is not taken by me then I would need to make sure that I have permit ion to use this if the magazine could get a copyright strike to it and it could get sued. The way to resolve this problem would be to make a contract to make sure it is copyright. I will also use my own images. In the client brief it tells me to use a vibrant music scene and as this Rap scene is becoming so big then a lot of artists are going to be using a lot of copyrights from lyrics or clothing so I would need to be mindful.
Libel: This would be if we had written untrue information within the magazine talking about someone in a bad light. one way to get around this is to have a nonbiased way of writing and checking overall information is as true as it can be. As said in the client brief I will have a magazine and this would feature artists that are coming up so this means I would have articles about famous new artists coming in and I would need to make sure that everything written down for the articles is true. The way around this problem again would be to make sure that everything is correct one way of doing this is to have an assigned manager to look over final copies of the article and make sure they are appropriate.
Ethical issues:
- The language used in the magazine could be an ethical issue, for example, there will be a lot of harsh languages when talking about lyrics in songs this can be resolved by giving people a disclaimer at the start of the magazine making sure people know it's going to have harsh language. From the client brief it says to use a vibrant music scene and again the rap scene is not a PG so it would have lots of harsh language within it. The way to make sure that no younger people are reading it is to put a disclaimer on the side of it saying for 17+ so people now that it is for older adults and parents can't complain if their children are reading it because it is not the main target audience meaning we don't want to publish to kids younger then 17 so this means it keeps to being ethical as well it keeps to the client brief staying with the new vibrant music scene within North London.
- Privacy would be an issue for the ethical issues due to the fact that we could intervene in somebody's privacy without knowing or even willing. There are multiple reasons as to why this is unethical but mainly if an artist had a bad experience or something happened within their family it's not correct to ask them questions if they want to keep it quiet and not talking about it. The way around this would be to make sure we think of the artist as any other person is and treat them with the same respect we would with anyone and not treat them disrespectfully.
- Stereotyping is also another ethical issue due to Rap being stereotyped as well as the artists that are in the rap game them selfs. There could be issues from using langue that's not appropriate for people to use or to talk about. One way around this would be through a disclaimer making sure the audience knows that langue used is not direct to anyone or to any race and they are used for the musical purpose and to analyse the rap music in more detail.
