The questions that where asked:
He asked me about my colours and said that I should use different colours other than the 3 colours I stated (red black and white) With this in mind I have thought that the colours that are red black and white would be the main image for Shout out but then I would use other colours for the artist that would feature with in the front cover.
Do you have any other fonts?
No I do not have another fonts other than the one that I want to use for the masthead. I’m not sure about what other fonts I would like to use.
He told me how I should find other fonts for the text that would complement the masthead. As well that I shouldn’t use the mast head for the normal text in articles. If I would to use the same font for the articles then it would lose its impact and it would be watered down.
Do you use any other programs other than Photoshop?
I only use Photoshop and I don’t have any experience with other programs. He recommend another program for the typography called InDesign an adobe program that would be a lot better for text based things for the magazine
Having an age restriction is pointless as well as making it censored as it has a target audience so it’s fine staying that way. If it’s not aimed at a younger audience then I would not need to censored the magazine as my target audience is old enough then it would be fine without anything in it. He said to keep the 3 main colours would become quit limiting.
How would you source the information?
The way I would source the material would be through the internet or through interviews/ Q&A. For example I would have an article talking about the 90s Hip Hop scene and trying to understand it, the information that I would tell the readers would be sourced from the internet or someone connected to those times for example Hip Hop artist would tell us information. Then I would also ask people with in the new hip hop scene about what they know about the past hip hop times and what they think about.
